  • Harvest Festival

    Thu 20 Oct 2016
On Thursday the children of Pirbright celebrated Harvest Festival with a whole school assembly jam-packed with singing, children speaking about the importance of Harvest and a truly amazing collection of food and drink being revealed, showing the kindness and generosity of each and every child at Pirbright. The children have donated to local charities including Woking Food Bank, North Guildford Food Bank, Brookwood Children's Centre, Kettlewell Hill Care Home and The Salvation Army. The hall has been decorated with bunting made by each class. It looks amazing. We are all so proud of the children for their hard work and contribution. Harvest has been a real success.
  • Family Lunch

    Wed 19 Oct 2016

Family Lunch was undoubtedly the highlight of a fabulous week at Pirbright and the ladies in the kitchen certainly laid on a feast for everyone. It was lovely to see all of the children welcoming parents and grandparents into school and enjoying a fantastic lunch with them. Whilst the sun didn’t exactly shine, the weather was definitely an improvement from the rainy start to the day!

  • Reading Matters Week - Displays

    Tue 11 Oct 2016
After our delightful Dahl inspired Reading Matters Week, the children's work has been eagerly displayed for all to see in the front entrance hall. Each class took a book or story, some less known than others, and read it over the course of the week and used it to inspire some amazing work. Pop in and have a look for yourself when you get the chance!
  • Action Afternoon

    Mon 10 Oct 2016
Mrs Wilson, Mrs Thompson and their merry band of keen parent helpers spruced up the school on Friday afternoon so it now looks lovely. We were all amazed at the number of parents in attendance and with the support of Mrs Canon's Ground Force Team, a very successful afternoon was had by all. Many thanks for all that came out to help!
