  The weather was extremely kind to us today as we held this term's family lunch. it was lovely to see so many family members join the children for a delicious hot lunch or a picnic out in the wonderful sunshine.

  

• Chocolate Bingo

  Last week saw the much anticipated annual Chocolate Bingo fundraising event.

  As always it was  hugely successful and much fun was had by all. Obviously with all that chocolate around......

  

• Key Stage 2 Dance Competition

  WOW!! What a fun afternoon we have all had here at Pirbright. We were thoroughly entertained by Key Stage 2 (and an impromptu performance by an inspired reception pupil) in some amazing dance routines as part of our Annual Dance Competition. 

  Miss Durdle was joined by an old friend on the judging panel where they gave points for musicology, costume, stage presence and choreography.

• 1LG Class Assembly

  What a wonderful performance from 1LG this morning! They wowed the audience with their amazing singing and dancing and lit up the room with their smiles and colourful costumes. Having learnt all about traditional tales, they were able to take on the persona of different characters and use lots of great story language. Well done 1LG!

• 5LB Class Assembly

  “Amazing!” Said everybody after 5LB’s performance of ‘A Viking Assembly’. Having learnt all about Vikings over the last few months, the children were able to pass on some of their learning to the rest of the school. They had all made an incredible effort to learn their lines and songs, and it was fantastic to see them all in costume. Everybody oozed confidence and showed the audience how well they could act and sing, delighting everyone with their talent, and of course, their humour! Well done to all of them.

  FOPS Parties

  A huge thank you from all the children must go to the wonderful FOPS team who put on two smashing parties for the children on Tuesday. The KS2 party was of course a parents free zone so there is no photographic evidence of the funtimes but the children in KS1 were more than happy to pose for photos and had a delightful time playing games and dancing away. A great success, many thanks to the FOPS team!
