Welcome
Welcome to Pirbright Village Primary School, a popular and successful primary school for pupils aged 4 – 11, centrally situated in the village of Pirbright. We aim to make each day a stimulating and enjoyable experience for all of our children. We have a strong ethos of collaboration and partnership and everyone, pupils, staff, parents, and governors, work together to create a successful and constantly developing school.
We believe that close links between home and school are essential and we value highly parental involvement, co-operation and support. At Pirbright children are given opportunities and experiences to excel across all curriculum areas. We offer a broad, challenging and motivating curriculum to promote enjoyment and excitement in learning and to develop positive attitudes and behaviour.
We have high expectations for everyone and we are committed to meeting the needs of every child and challenging them to have high aspirations and achieve their potential. The school has outstanding facilities set in extensive and beautiful surroundings, which the children take pride in caring for.
We aim to create a positive learning environment where our children feel included and valued, happy and secure, where they experience and develop high self-esteem and confidence in their own abilities. Working together we can provide our children with the very best primary education so that they become effective and enthusiastic learners, ready and confident to meet the challenges of the future.
Choosing a school for your child is a very important decision and we hope that our website captures the spirit and values of the school and is informative for parents. However the best way to find out about the school is to come and see for yourselves, just telephone the school on 01483 473884 to arrange a visit.
I am sure as you walk around Pirbright you will see why we are really proud of our children and our school. Should you have any queries or questions please feel free to contact me at any time.
