  • 4RB Class Assembly

    Thu 21 Mar 2019

Wow! What a fun filled and action packed assembly we were treated to this morning by 4RB.There was an important morale to the assembly as we were made to think how we should be grateful for all that we have.

Craziness hit Pirbright School as the frogs from the pond decided that, being bored with life on their logs, they would head off on new adventures around the school with the final destination being a temple in India. With fantastic acting and singing (not to mention some retro dancing from Mrs Benjifield) the story unfolded amongst the slimy lily pads.......

  • 3SC Class Assembly

    Wed 20 Mar 2019

3SC took us on an informative journey to Ancient Egypt on Thursday in style. With a class assembly full of singing, dancing and great one liners, they certainly did it in style. We travelled back in time to see the Pyramids of Giza being built, we learnt about the Story of Atum and how the Egyptians thought the world was created, as well as being present for the remarkable discovery of Tutankhamen. The children were so enthusiastic about every aspect of the assembly, putting in 110% effort.

    Well done 3SC!

  • World Book Day

    Wed 13 Mar 2019

In true Pirbright tradition we celebrated World Book Day with a fabulous array of character costumes from our favourite books. Every pupil and staff member took the opportunity to show off their costumes to the rest of the school during our costume catwalk assembly.

Lots of book related activities took place in each year group and in the afternoon parents were invited into school to join with us for 'The Big Read'.
