• 4HJ Assembly

  Year 4 have been studying explanation texts as part of their English topic this half term. In 4HJ's assembly today they taught us how to set out a perfect text explaining all about dogs, how the Tidy-o-Matic robot worked and, slightly worringly, all about the human stomach and trapped wind!

• 5EC Class Assembly

  Year 5 have been studying the poem The Highway Man this term as part of their English topic. In a slight adaptation, Scooby Doo and the Mystery Gang joined forces with the police to use their newly acquired witness statement skills and investigate who killed the Highwayman. Would they ever find out? Would they need to call for Ghostbusters?

  All these questions and more were answered in a fabulous assembly full of song, dance and plenty of over acting!

• RGD Class Assembly

  This morning, we were entertained by another of our youngest members of the school as RGD performed to the school and parents. We learnt about the characters from Ten Town and some of the ways that reception learn their numbers through stories, songs and pictures. Well done RGD!
