Easter Assembly
Thu 29 Mar 2018Year 5 were amazing in this morning's assembly as they told the Easter story through drama and song. A live Twitter feed enabled many parents to watch the assembly as it happened, but please take a look at the video resource centre section under the yellow subheading of the homepage to view the wonderful singing. -
Pirbright Dance Competition
Wed 28 Mar 2018Yesterday, after weeks of rehearsals, costume planning and choreography changes, Pirbright held its very own Strictly Come Dancing competition. All the competitors were amazing and the audience were the best ever with lots of enthusiastic clapping and cheering.

Chocolate Bingo
Wed 28 Mar 2018On Friday eve the lovely FOPS team held the annual Chocolate Bingo 'eggstravaganza'. There was much fun had by all and certainly plenty of chocolate! -
Skipathon for Sport Relief
Wed 28 Mar 2018On Friday the children gathered together in their team colours to use their newly acquired skipping skills to raise money for Sport Relief. Each team had to complete as many skips as they could to raise money and earn team points. -
Snow Days

Dan the Skipping Man Workshops
Wed 28 Mar 2018Over the last couple of weeks our school has gone skipping mad! The children were all very excited to take part in skipping workshops where they learnt a variety of tricks and skipping techniques and have now taken their new found skills onto the playground at break times. It is great to see so many active children all keeping fit and having fun at the same time. -
3GD Class Assembly
Thu 22 Mar 2018This morning's assembly from the wonderfully talented 3GD told the history of Ancient Egypt through rhyme, acting and songs (and even a little rapping!)
The children had so many lines to deliver and the costumes were truly magnificent.

1BA Class Assembly
Thu 15 Mar 2018This morning 1BA treated the whole school to a wonderful assembly about The Rainbow Fish. With fabulous story telling, dance and songs they told the story about a beautiful fish who finds friendship and happiness when he learns to share.
Well done to all the fish, starfish, octopus and other sea creatures!

World Book Day
Tue 13 Mar 2018The snow finally cleared and we were able to hold our postponed World Book Day last Friday.
All of the staff and children came dressed as animals from books and during the day, each class studied a book by the author Graeme Base. During assembly a special fashion show was held on the catwalk to showcase some of the finest animal costumes.

Woodlands Trust Plant a Tree scheme
Tue 13 Mar 2018Mrs Thompson, our resident gardener, applied recently to the Woodland Trust who have been giving away thousands of free trees to schools and communities.
Our tree pack has finally arrived and some of the year 4,5 and 6's have been helping to plant a native hedgerow at the front of the school.
